FSL's New Coordinator

The Fraternity and Sorority Life Office happily welcomed Annaliese Punt into one of the Coordinator of Fraternity and Sorority Life roles this past fall. In her position, Annie's primary focus will be the Interfraternity Council and Order of Omega.

Annie graduated from Northwest in May of 2022 with a bachelor's degree in Public Relations. During her undergraduate career, she was Panhellenic Delegate, Homecoming Co-Chair, and Chapter President of Alpha Sigma Alpha, President of the Panhellenic Council. In addition, she served on the National Panhellenic Conference Student Advisory Board.

The Return of Greek Week

The Northwest Missouri State University Fraternity and Sorority Life Office is excited to announce this past spring, we brought back a full Greek Week for the first time in six years. The week was filled with numerous events and received great reviews. After a successful week, all the chapters had a great time, and Pi Kappa Alpha came out victorious.

Pictured left are one member of each fraternity pulling their sorority teammates in Chariot Races, which started the week. All FSL members then traveled to Hughes Fieldhouse for a game of Greek Family Feud.

A Phi Sigma Kappa Makes History

Garrison Kennedy, the Vice President of Phi Sigma Kappa and an Interfraternity Council delegate, was honored at the annual Northwest Award ceremony, where he won the Student Employee of the Year award not only at Northwest but in the Midwest region and nationally for his work in the school's Office of Student Involvement. He is the school's first student to win the Student Employee of the Year award nationally and was given two checks totaling 400-dollar's.

Former Interim President of Northwest and Chief of the University Police Department, Clarence Green, is pictured with Garrison Kennedy (Phi Sigma Kappa) after congratulating him on his multiple wins.

Community Grade Point Average Report

Northwest Missouri State University does not report registered student organizations GPA information whose membership is below 10 undergraduate students due to FERPA. “*” denotes this policy.

Homecoming 2022

The 2022 Homecoming theme was "Bearcats Got Game" and our fraternity and sorority community went all out with their artwork. FSL members spent the week putting last minute details on their floats, jalopies, paper mache heads, and much more to make the Homecoming experience special for anyone who attended. Variety Show was full of laughs and the parade was vibrant.

The FSL Office is beyond proud of Hadley Douglas (ADPi) and Foster Huggins (Sig Ep) for being crowned the 2022 Homecoming Queen and King. The Royalty Court also included 4 other FSL members: Dami Popoola of TKE, Hunter Grantham of Sig Tau, Makenna Johannsen of Phi Mu, and Jenna Lee-Johnson of Alpha Sig. It is always a moment of pride when our strong FSL community leaders get recognized for their work on campus.
