Aronimink Golf Club is a family-oriented, full-service Golf Club located in the Northwest suburbs of Philadelphia, PA. Founded in 1896, Aronimink Golf Club is proud to offer Members the finest in dining and sporting activities, including a nationally ranked Donald Ross designed golf course.

The Club also offers trapshooting, a pool facility featuring a diving pool, lap-lane pool and kid’s pool, and a racquets facility featuring nine outdoor tennis courts, two indoor tennis courts, four platform tennis courts, as well as several pickleball courts.

Aronimink Golf Club is perennially recognized as one of the top golf courses in the country and top clubs in the world. Aronimink is currently ranked as the #9 Platinum Golf Club in America, the #30 Platinum Golf & Country Club in the World, and #94 golf course in the country. In 2026, Aronimink will serve as the host venue for the 108th PGA Championship.

Food & Beverage Internship Overview

Internships at Aronimink Golf Club are what you make of them. Learning opportunities are vast. A great internship experience is yours to be had with this prestigious golf club. While at Aronimink, student interns will help lead an extensive and full-service food and beverage operation. Experiences will include involvement with banquets, Member events and the operation of our a la carte dining outlets including the scenic Golf Patio, the family-oriented Belmont Grille, and the Member Dining Terrace.

In addition to the standard club operations, student interns at Aronimink will be exposed to a variety of tasks including, but not limited to:

  • Food & Beverage Inventory and Ordering
  • Event Planning and Execution: Weddings & Club Events
  • Overall COG Analysis (Menu/Liquor)
  • Club Operating Software (Northstar POS, Club Passport, Sling)
  • Member Relations

Student interns are encouraged to ask questions and utilize the knowledgeable managers and staff to better prepare themselves for a future in the hospitality industry.

Expectations

Aronimink is looking for passionate and resourceful students with a thirst for knowledge and an eagerness to embrace new experiences and challenges. These students should possess a desire to lead by example and the humility to learn from all members of their team.

Student interns will have the opportunity to rotate between a variety of food and beverage outlets, allowing them to build relationships and organizational knowledge along the way. Student interns are expected to bring their enthusiasm for hospitality and passion for growth to all the experiences Aronimink has to offer. There is always something to learn!
