Visit to Los Caserinos on Villaviciosa, a completely family-run Asturian cheese factory with a long cattle tradition.

It can be said with certainty that the origin of this cheese factory dates back to 1910 when Ángel, son of the first Caserín, began to dedicate himself to cattle raising. He instilled in us a taste for working in cattle breeding. He always said: "I don't work. I have fun". That is why we think that the best thing that can happen to us is to work in what we like.
"It was Gonzalo (Ángel's son) and Mary, our parents, who turned their family cattle ranch into a company based on raising animals in the best possible conditions so as not to alter the quality of the milk. Years later they complemented the sale of milk with products such as potatoes, beans, eggs and rabbits. Little by little they grew and became more mechanized, increasing the number of animals and investing in new facilities."
