Content Info For The Week

Math (Swindell, Beasley, and Meeks):

Students will review for the unit 3 assessment on Wednesday. Students will have a study guide to complete and review on Monday and Tuesday. On Thursday, students will complete escape rooms and work on grade improvement. On Friday students will participate in a pep rally and PBIS day.

Algebra I (Meeks):

Monday - We will review for our unit assessment. Tuesday - Unit assessment. Wednesday - we will review solving system of equations and graphing linear functions. Thursday - we will begin graphing linear inequalities. Friday - we will wrap up solving linear inequalities.

ELA (Styron and Bright):

This week scholars will use text evidence accurately when explaining the meaning of a text, use active reading, viewing, and listening as they continue working through their individualized and differentiated app segments and continue reading their selected novels, as well as analyze what is clearly stated in the text and infer what is not clearly stated.

ELA (Lee):

This week in Mrs. Lee's class, students will finish reading our in-class novel Long Way Down. We will take our Unit 2 Assessment on Wednesday, December 14.

9th Grade Lit (Lee):

This week in Mrs. Lee's class, students will continue their analysis of To Kill a Mockingbird. We will begin reading Part 2 of the novel, taking time to discuss developing themes and characters of the novel.

Science (Carver and Lewis):

Students will be reviewing and quizing over forces and newtons law of motion.

Social Studies (MacArthur and Lewis):

This week, students will be reviewing for their unit 4 test on Wednesday and Thursday. Students will be given a notecard to take home and study with. Students can write whatever they want on the card, and will be able to use it on the test.
