Spring Term 2a week 3

The children are making good progress with reading. All the Year 4 children read every day in school and every evening at home and record their reading on Seesaw. I am impressed every day. Fantastic!

Some children read every morning at breakfast club and record their reading on Seesaw. Well done. All the children have reading time during the morning including independent reading and reading to an adult.

We spend time making sure the magic link handwriting joins are correct.

The children like to share their news with an adult.

Some great thinking during our maths key skills practise sessions.

Good sentence level work including questions and subordinate clauses.

In maths we continued finding the difference between two numbers using subtraction.

We continued learning the properties of 3 D shapes. The children built 3 D shapes using clixi. They counted the vertices, faces and edges. They also named the different faces on each shape.

We love the way Mia is always ready to share her ideas. What a superstar!

Our star of the week was Krystal. She is a great example to all the other children in the group. She is kind, caring, considerate and always helpful.
