Well, what a busy first two weeks back in school after the half-term break! It has been lovely to see the relaxing of covid restrictions and groups of pupils interacting around the school.
There’s been plenty to celebrate, with both St David’s Day and World Book Day taking place. With that in mind, I wanted to pass on my thanks on behalf of the staff team for the support you’ve given both events. It’s not lost on us that costumes and competition entries do not end up in school without your support and we wanted to share how much your efforts are appreciated.
Our school Eisteddfod was a enormous success and Mrs. Davies and Mr. Denham, loved returning to our Johnston Family. Each year, we are amazed by the quality of the entries which pupils produce and we would like to congratulate all pupils and families on their hard work.
A special mention to Laura Ruloff who won the year six writing competition. Laura's creativity and vocabulary impressed the judges and she should be very proud of her achievement.

Thank You Volunteers

Friday Afternoon - Booking Form

School Uniform Shop
The school uniform shop will now open on Friday, 18th March at 12:00. We have lots of uniform available for just 50p. Why not grab a bargain?
Attendance
The pandemic has had a significant impact on pupil attendance, but we feel that it is time for us to begin encouraging attendance as much as possible.
A massive "Well Done" to Class Three who were the highest attending this week with 96.6%. Da iawn pawb! I will be discussing a small treat with Mrs. Lane on Monday morning!
Remember, if any class achieves 100% attendance for an entire week, they win an extra special treat!
