The Baker Blast April 9, 2022

Above: Early, Friday morning, our 8th grade students went on the road to start their 4-Day field trip to Washington D.C. to visit our nation's capital, explore the must see monuments, and observe breathtaking exhibits at various museums. It looks like they are having a blast. We wish them safe travels and look forward to their return on Monday.

PSAT 8 & M-STEP Information

Next week, state testing will begin. It will start with our 8th graders and the PSAT 8. This is a paper and pencil test. It replaces the 8th grade ELA and Math portions of the M-STEP. The 8th grade students will then take the Social Studies and Science sections of the M-STEP. This will be an online test. Students will need to bring their iPads to school and make sure that they are fully charged. If possible, please avoid absences during your student's scheduled testing dates.

Parent Pick Up Reminder

Over the past few weeks, we've seen an increase in parents dropping off and picking up students in our designated bus loop area. For the safety of our students, we are asking parents to ONLY use the Main Entrance on the north side of the building. We understand that the traffic on Torpey may be an inconvenience, but the use of the bus loop creates a dangerous environment for the students who have to walk around the busses as they drive off of our campus. Thank you for your cooperation with this procedure and your support for the safety of our students.
