Uniforms At Liberty University By: bethany Mork

Having school uniforms at Liberty University will help decrease immodesty. A set dress code will keep students from choosing their own clothes, which may be immodest. Uniforms will help students from having to guess at whether their clothes are modest or not.

Some people think that the cost for school uniforms is really expensive; however, uniforms can be cheaper than other clothes students purchase. Uniforms do not cost as much as designer brands. The differences in prices between school uniforms and designer clothes makes purchasing the uniforms economically better.

The money put into buying school outfits will decrease since students will not be allowed to wear their expensive and fancy outfits that cost a fortune. Cost for school uniforms is relatively cheap compared to the cost of other clothes. For some, uniforms may even save them money, since it will not be used to purchase costly garments.

School uniforms will help hide the differences between students who are rich and the students who are poor. With a school uniform, clothing will not be a way in which people can identify and tell the economic background of a student. Since clothing will be the same, students cannot see those who are struggling financially.

Set uniforms will keep people from breaking the dress code as easily. Students will not be able to break the dress code with out it being blatantly obvious since their outfit will stand out from everyone else. Wearing immodest or inappropriate clothing will not be allowed at all.

Students tend to judge others by their appearance, but uniforms will help eliminate this judging. Students will not be so quick to judge other students based on their clothing since what they will be wearing is similar to what their fellow classmates are wearing. Also, determining what a person is like based on their appearances will not work anymore.

What students think about each other in regards to fashion will decrease. Those who are not good at matching clothes will not have to worry anymore. Students will not need to be concerned about what other people think of their outfit.
