Christian Aid Student Takeover

Do you have what it takes to run an international poverty charity?

We’re celebrating Student Volunteering Week with our Student Takeover. For two whole days, on Wednesday 9th and Thursday 10th February, our student volunteers will be calling the shots at Christian Aid – and it could be you!

What does it involve?

You’ll be matched with a Christian Aid counterpart for the day, taking on their responsibilities and, of course, their decision-making!

Depending on the role, you could find yourself managing our social media, working on our humanitarian programmes, or even leading Christian Aid Week!

As part of the Takeover, you’ll receive an induction pack prior to the day to give you further details, a full welcome on the first day before you get started, and support throughout your time with us.

This unique experience will give you the chance to see the inner workings of one of the UKs most innovative and dynamic iNGOs with a 75-year history of being at the forefront of campaigning and development.

How do I get involved?

If you’d like to join in the fun, you’ll need to complete our short online application form. We want to know what skills and experience you can bring and, of course, any preferred roles you’d like to take over. You’ll also need to provide a reference from your university or college.

You’ll then be invited to an informal interview at the end of January so we can learn more about you and match you to the right role for the day.

So what are you waiting for?
