A Day on the Lagoon Burano & Murano

The Venetian lagoon is an expanse of tranquil water that protects Venice from the Adriatic and is home to quiet, colorful islands where lace & glass are made and fish are harvested from the sea. These photographs are impressions of a day on the lagoon, with stops on the islands of Burano and Murano.
