How is this different from a Santa Mini Session?
The Storybook Santa Experience is a magical 30 minute session which begins long before your children arrive at the studio. The goal is to capture each of the pages of the storybook so it comes to life for your child!
Your child will receive a personalized letter from Saint Nick himself with an invitation to meet him in person. Once your child arrives at the studio, he/she will be greeted by Santa and invited to sit with him. Santa will tell them stories about the North Pole and ask them what they want for Christmas. Your child may even bring their own wishlist, and then the fun begins. Santa will engage your child(ren) in various storybook activities to bring genuine expressions. Santa will help your child find their name on his nice list, search his globe for his home place at the North Pole, magically paint toys to help the elves, read a page or two from his favorite book, sprinkle magical dust as your child catches it, and have milk and cookies to end the session. Santa may even make a special phone call to the North Pole to speak to your child's "elf on the shelf". Your child WILL believe in Santa, and you will, too!
As soon as you enter our Storybook Santa studio, the magical, nostalgic feeling of Christmas will overwhelm you. You’ll sit back and watch your children experience the magic, love, hope and wonderment that Santa brings. The Storybook Santa Experience will fill you with laughter, joy and maybe even tears while you’re here. Our hand-finished art pieces will add a timeless appeal to the Storybook Santa experience. NOTE: These are best for children over the age of 3 who are not afraid of Santa. Parents are welcome in the portraits with their young children or babies.
Meet Santa Kenny
Putting on the Red Suit isn’t just about saying Ho, Ho, Ho and being jolly. Putting on the red suit is about bringing joy to the joyless, hope to the hopeless, love to the loveless, and smiles to those who do not believe they have anything to smile about. It is about sharing the spirit that makes up Christmas all year round.
As Santa, I promote the traditions and spirit of Christmas through actions and a simple love for all of mankind. From my very first appearance as Santa Kenny in 2016, the magic of Christmas has grown tremendously in my heart and life. I am excited to have this awesome opportunity to be Santa and share the magic to all.
Experience Details
This session is all about capturing your child(ren)'s expression as they spend time with Santa. Most, if not all, images will be focused on interaction and moments, rather than looking at the camera and saying "cheese". We will capture an image or two of everyone looking at the camera but 95% of the images will showcase moments spent with Santa.

Our featured item is the Vintage Christmas Storybook. One copy is included with your session, additional storybooks can be purchased for grandparents at a discount. This personalized book includes a rhyming story to accompany all of the special moments that Santa and your children experienced together - from finding their name on the "Nice List" to eating cookies and drinking milk to sprinkling Magic Dust! Each portrait will have the signature stylized oil painting look giving your book a nostalgic feel.
These images are also perfect for our specially designed Christmas Cards! Be the talk of the town by sending out the most amazing cards to your family & friends! If requested, we are happy to have the whole family jump into our set at the end of the session to create a picture-perfect holiday family photo. Framed storybook pages are a beautiful keepsake to bring out every season to re-live the magic and also as amazing gifts for grandparents!
