Have you ever dreamed about writing your own song?

Join international singer-songwriter, Luc Reynaud, in the creative and transformational process of writing a song!

Luc has lead groups and individuals from all over the world through the inspiring and empowering process of songwriting. He has helped refugees, hurricane survivors, youth in crises, adults in recovery, corporate teams, groups of friends, partners and individuals to write their own songs. During the recent pandemic he gathered entire families together over zoom to experience the joyful and bonding process of writing their very own family song. He also helped groups write special anniversary or birthday songs for family members. "It's not just the outcome of the song itself, the process can be incredibly bonding and uplifting" Luc says.

As one client put it, “Luc is such a freeing person to be around. We never could have expected what a gift this would be, having our whole family including the grandparents gathered together in this creative experience. Luc’s way of drawing each one of us out, urging us to tell stories and slowly weaving all of our creative input into a song was masterful. We now have a song that we will cherish forever but just as much the process of doing this together created a deeply bonding experience, unique to anything we’ve had as a family.”

More from Luc on the process: “There are many ways to go about writing a song. I tend to cater the experience completely unique to each group or individual I am working with. I connect, I listen, I instigate. I find out what they want to express and if they don’t know what they want to express that can be really fun too. We use creative exercises and tools that activate the first impulse, something children know by nature, the unblocked immediate and free expression of the imagination. We play with rhythm, rhyme, melody and storytelling. Some people are inclined towards lyrics and words, others more towards rhythm and groove. Some lean towards a deep subject others towards a light or humorous side or just a feel good party. It’s all good and it’s crazy fun. I like to move fast with it, a flourish of moving along, no time for fear or all the various mental blockers and critics that come into our human mind so easily. We are born creators, that’s what so special about us. There is a magic that happens when anyone, beginner or experienced, participates in writing a song. It brings them in direct contact with one of our greatest powers, the power to create. This is instantly therapeutic and empowering. It can show you parts of yourself you didn’t know exist and also be incredibly fun. If we work together, someway or another before you know it you’ll go “wow, I made a song!”
