From the Principal
Welcome back for the 2022-2023 school year! We had a great first day of school. Our students are awesome! It is our mission at The Discovery School to empower students to become responsible, self-disciplined citizens, to encourage a spirit of discovery and exploration, to meet local and state standards, and to be academically prepared for middle school. We have great teachers who spend hours planning and creating activities to engage our students in learning. I hope you will utilize our school website and social media accounts to stay informed about what's going on in our school. Thank you for entrusting your child to us. It's going to be a fantastic school year!
Safety & Security Protocol
- All guests desiring to meet with staff will be required to have an appointment at least 24 hours in advance. Visits to the building will be limited to essential business.
- All guests will be screened and appointments will be confirmed via intercom system prior to entering the building. Schools reserve the right to deny entrance to guests.
- All guests upon entering school buildings during school hours must enter through the designated Main Entrance and provide proof of identification through the Raptor Visitor Management System. Guests must clearly display their visitor passes during their entire visit and should only be in areas where their appointments are scheduled.
