We’ve had an exciting week in Reception this week, with a visit from a cheeky fox! He tried to get Princess Pearl to let him take her across the river but we knew not to trust that sneaky fox! We thought of different ways to help Pearl cross the river;boats, planes and even space rockets!
The cheeky fox even tried to get us on our walk out to forest school…
Once Pearl crossed the river she introduced us to her friend… a dragon! We wondered why Pearl had introduced us so we asked him some questions. He told us all about Chinese New Year and the importance of the dragon.
He told us it was the year of the Rabbit so we had a go at drawing our own rabbits…
We also tried some delicious Chinese food.
There was lots of other fun activities to try around the class too!
