In this project I drew the Patriots logo. I drew this because I like there logo and my dad is a huge fan of the Patriots, but I'm not so much myself. This project is my favorite because I enjoy shading and I liked drawling this specific logo. In this Project I used shading to blend the text with the Logo and make certain areas stand out more than others like the face of the logo. This drawling really helped me with my shading skills and contour lining.
In this project I drew an object from real life which is a tall vase sorta thing. I did three separate drawling's with different parts of the object and then drew different patterns inside of them to make them look more interesting. I improved on my pattern drawling and ability to draw objects from real life.
These are some sketchbook assignments that I enjoyed making throughout the year. Although I'm not the best at drawling I still enjoyed this class and making something new every week. There was always something new to do so I was never bored and there were so many new things I learned about art in general. I really challenged myself to become a better drawler throughout the year and I think I improved a really good amount and I'm very glad that I took this class as an elective this year.
