TRIAD PEDIATRICS Winter 2021

I think the season of Advent may be my favorite time of the year. It is always a good time to reflect and to reset. For me the four weeks leading up to Christmas help me to remember that Christ came and to also remind me that Christ is coming again. At the end of each year we have the opportunity to celebrate Christ coming into the world and to long for Him to come again and make all things new and right.

Clearly this year has been difficult and hard for all of us in various ways. Recently in one of our staff meetings a provider shared a number of difficult diagnoses and challenges patients and families were facing. Another team member shared significant loss in her sphere of influence. Loss is all around us. Loss is a daily reality. And yet, because of the First Advent and the hope of the Second Advent, it is truly possible to be thankful in all circumstances and avoid despair. We can experience real hope, joy, peace and love. From the team here at Triad Pediatrics, that is our hope and prayer for you this Advent season.

We hope you enjoy our Winter Newsletter. We are happy to introduce you to our two newest providers, plus tell you about our new Triad Pediatrics app that you can now find in the AppStore!

Advent Blessings,

Chad Cooke

TRIAD PEDIATRICS APP

We now have an app available for all of our patients and families!! It contains most all of the same features found on the patient portal but will be easily accessible with just one click! You can view records, book appointments, message your provider and more. We hope to have all of the billing features added as well as we continue to make enhancements. The app is free to download on any Apple device and can be found by searching "Triad Pediatrics" in the app store. We are hoping to have it available for Android users soon!

We are excited to introduce two of our newest providers, Dr. Emily Phillips, MD and Mary Yonjof, FNP-C!

Dr. Emily Phillips joined the provider team in October of 2021. She completed medical school at Long School of Medicine in San Antonio, Texas and then completed her pediatric residency at the University of New Mexico. Her husband is a physician as well, currently serving in the pulmonary critical care fellowship program through WFBH in Winston-Salem. Dr. Phillips and her husband have a heart for the nations having served short-term overseas and desiring to do future work overseas as well. They have two young children and are active members at Emmanuel Church of Winston-Salem.

Mary Yonjof joined the team of providers in November of 2021. She loves the mission and vision of Triad Pediatrics. She has a passion for sharing Jesus with her local community and abroad. She also has a passion for helping children and families with a holistic approach to their health. Mary has a heart for those who are overlooked and has a homeless ministry in Greensboro. Mary lives in Madison with her husband and has 2 grown children and 3 beautiful grandchildren. She attends Living Way Church in Greensboro.

It is an honor to serve your family. As always, don't hesitate to offer feedback on ways that we can better serve you.

Merry Christmas and happy New Year from everyone at Triad Pediatrics!
