Welcome to the online preview of James and John Rees’ upcoming exhibit, Born Out of This. These works explore memories from childhood and their parallel growth as artists. This collection insightfully juxtaposes the brothers distinct, differing styles, inviting comparison and contrast. Stylistically, John’s work is more informal and edgy, while James creates through a mix of line, structure, and imagery. Evolving out of early shared experience each brother’s individualism is expressed as they remain connected and intertwined.
