ITA Assistant Coach of the Year

Megane Bianco from Keiser University has been named the 2023 ITA Assistant Coach of the Year.

Since taking over as assistant coach three years ago, the men's program has only continued to go to new levels, with this season proving to this point to be one of the best.

This past year, the Keiser Men's Tennis team did something no team has been able to do in beating No. 1 Georgia Gwinnett to snap their 173-match winning streak. They did so in the NAIA Indoor National Championship match giving Keiser the first NAIA Indoor National Championship title. From then, the men went the entire season ranked No. 1 in the nation and had 16 wins over nationally ranked opponents on the season. The men also captured their 8th straight Sun Conference Championship this past year going 19-5.

On court, Bianco is unmatched with her coaching tactics and abilities to read a match and guide her players through matches. This season's team has been primarily recruited and built with Bianco's relentless hard work and desire to see the players she coaches succeed both on and off the court.

Bianco always shows the highest level of sportsmanship and respect. She always holds her cool and calm throughout any situation handed to her during matches and helps guide the men's team through any situation and helps ensure they are able to play their best. She also gives her time working with the local youth in West Palm Beach volunteering for STEM camps on campus and teaching local juniors as well.

Bianco is without a doubt one of the best young coaches I have ever had the privilege of working beside. She is one of the premier stars in the coaching profession and a class act in doing so.
