Black Mountain Elementary School Preparing students for the global stage

If you are interested in talking about future possibilities working at BMES, I would love to talk! While we are only down to one recess aide position currently open, we are always looking for the next rock star to join our team.

Our amazing Mrs. Spigarelli was selected as CCUSD Employee of the Month. Join me in congratulating her for a well deserved award!

We're excited to share that BMES was awarded a grant thought the State's School Facilities Board for weatherproofing. This includes new exterior paint, weatherstripping, door sweeps and caulking. To our amazing Bobcat Nation:

In the weeks following the override, so many of you have come to us asking what can be done to be sure our AMAZING staff knows just how much they are appreciated and valued by our school community. While we value our teachers and staff EVERY DAY, how awesome would it be to send them into winter break with a little extra token of our gratitude?

Black Mountain has been blessed with 59 wonderful faculty and staff members. So this year we've made holiday gift-giving easy! If you would like to show your appreciation to members of our faculty and staff, simply contribute to the Season of Giving Fund. No more running around gathering gifts off wish lists, no more forgetting extra teachers and support staff you'd like to thank. This year we've made it easy with one large fund that will be spread amongst all faculty and support staff members. Think of this as your one stop shop for giving!

Our dedicated teachers and staff deserve the world and we'd like to help make their season a little brighter. This season please consider gifting through our PTO led Season of Giving Fund. Please be sure and make all donations prior to 5pm on December 9th!

Thank you for making our BMES Family so very special!

Thank you SNOW much to all our BMES Staff! We would like to show our appreciation by giving them a brunch on Wednesday, December 14th. We are looking for some homemade breakfast casseroles to serve to our teachers. If you are able to make a casserole can you bring it into the teacher lounge by 9:30am on the 14th. We will have warmers to set casserole dishes on. There are other options on the list that are store bought as well. Thank you again for all your generous donations to help make these days special for our teachers and staff at BMES.
