School Open Day!
On Tuesday, we welcomed almost 70 headteachers from schools across Wales. We organised the day in order to raise funds to re-invest in resources for our pupils. The day was an enormous success. Several headteacher commented on the fact that our pupils were so polite, articulate and enthusiastic about their learning. We could not be more proud! Amazing work everyone and thank you to everyone who helped make the day a success. We are really putting Johnston on the map as a successful and confident school!
Instagram to go live!
We are always attempting to improve our communication with parents and our ability to share the fantastic learning that our pupils have completed. We will continue to use Twitter as an established educational platform, but also introduce the use of Instagram. All posts will be duplicated. We will use our social media consent forms to begin using our account during the next few weeks. If you have any concerns about Instagram, please contact the school.
Information from Empathy Lab - Parent Survey
Hello! We are working with your child's school to help develop pupils' empathy skills both inside and outside the classroom.
We would very much appreicate it if you could answer the follow series of short questions to assist us in establishing what the impact of the project has been over time.
We will send you an identical survey in July 2023 to see if there has been any change in opinion over time.
Many thanks
The EmpathyLab Team

This is a fantastic sporting event for youngsters and one that Pembrokeshire is very proud to host; It would be amazing to see as many of our JCPS sporting superstars taking part. If you have any questions don’t hesitate to contact school.

During the Summer Term each year, we ask parents to complete a survey on the progress which they feel the school is making. We appreciate honest, constructive feedback and we are willing to accept criticism if if supports us to move the school forwards and identify areas which need improving. We will compare the results with last year's to judge our progress in any areas of deficit. We appreciate the time taken to complete the form.
This link will be live for the next four weeks. We will select the winner by generating a random number and the winner will be contacted on the afternoon of 27th May.
