WHERE?

Our Summer Retreat is in the dreamy location of :

MOUNT PELION, Greece Our sacred container for the retreat will be in the Pelion mountain region on the East Coast of Greece. Mount Pelion, historically known as the Magic Mountain that stands between Pagasitikos Gulf and the Aegean Sea, took its name from the mythical king Peleus, father of Achilles. It is truly magical (and where the modern Mamma Mia was filmed!). The majestic mountain can be seen looming on the horizon from our villas, and on the other side the deep blue sea sparkles below. We will be immersed in the pure perfection of creation; the vastness of the landscape inspires us to see from a higher perspective and witness the natural beauty of the earth. The undiscovered region of Pelion will host us, surrounded by lush greenery, oak trees, olive trees, fresh vegetables, mystical mountains, stunning beaches, cobalt waters, cobbled streets, ancient villages and stone built houses. We are so blessed to co-create with you on these sacred lands.

GETTING THERE

• By Flight (Flights and transfers are not included in the retreat price.)
• VOLOS airport is the closest airport, located 1 hour drive from Pelion Homes. There is an Easy jet flight from London Gatwick on Sat 30 Aug to Volos (Flight EZY8593) departing 06:00 to arrive 11:30 in Volos. This is an ideal flight to get as you will arrive in the afternoon on our opening day with time to rest before our opening sunset ceremony. We advise you to book this as soon as possible.
• There is also a return flight from Volos airport to London Gatwick on Sat 6 Aug. Please check sky scanner flights or easyjet website for further booking.
• If you wish to fly to Athens or Thessaloniki, we advise you to arrive there at least one day before 30th July as they are 3-4 hours drive from Pelion and will be a minimum of €120 per person return journey. Please let us know your travel plans before booking so we can arrange shared taxis etc.
• By Car
• You can rent a car at any of the airports and drive to Pelion Homes, noting that most roads have tolls.
• From Athens Airport 4 hours drive with €20 tolls
• From Thesaaloniki Airport 3 hour drive with €13 tolls
• By Public Transport
• It is possible and pretty straightforward to reach Volos from any airport using bus or train. Rome2rio can give you more accurate information on the options and travelling times available.

The Facilitators

The vision of Ceremonia Yoga, co-founded in 2020 by Hannah Sapphire + Suzie Suriya, was activated by a strong heart resonance to live a life in service of the highest frequency and realisation of the field of Oneness, deeply felt by both. Their paths merged as One, to serve the One. The concept is ceremonial life; breathing loving awareness into daily practice and intentional creation with the sacred. During their experience in nomadic lifestyle, sitting with many ancient ancestral cultures and teachings carried by a lineage of the higher planes of consciousness, a fusion of ceremony and yogic lifestyle has come into manifestation by Ceremonia Yoga. This is an elemental, alchemical and grounding space of non-duality ~ calling in all beings with the highest heart core resonance with the Earth and Sun.

The two who see themselves as one met in Goa during a study of Traditional Yoga on 02/02/2020, and they began sharing divine yogic frequencies at the Shiva temple shortly after. They opened a Yoga shala in Goa, India in October 2020 called 'Shakti Shala' and held an abundance of ceremonies with the moon cycles, yoga journeys, sound healings, singing circles and community gatherings here. Leaving India in October 2021 and closing Shakti Shala's doors after the destruction of the hurricane, their initiations and guidance took them to opposite sides of the waters - Hannah in Mexico and Suzie in Sri Lanka. They have created a ceremonial clothing line and prayer bead malas, available through their Instagram page - available to pre-order for the retreat . Suzie Suriya

Suzie has trained in Traditional Hatha + Tantra Yoga, as well as completing her Advanced Teacher Training in alignment focused multi-style yoga. Having practiced yoga for over 10 years, and exploring many spiritual practices, cultures and esoteric teachings, now she shares the blessings that have been passed down and that have come through her own experience. A student of the Ageless Wisdom + Plant teachings, Suzie walks the beauty way and shines the light of harmony into all aspects and expressions of life.

During the yoga sessions Suzie is a hands-on teacher ~ helping you be in your best position. Each session is an opportunity to get to know yourself more, explore the body with loving awareness and breath, and also feel your sacred connection with the One consciousness and the Earth. We move, we breathe, we chant and call in Grace. She holds a nurturing, strong space for you to listen and hear divine guidance within. She loves to listen; to hear you, to see you in your totality. She learns so much from every person and their experiences, gaining insight into our collective experience and what we are facing as humanity.

She loves to dance and flow, to feel the energies and stagnancy shift in the body. Chanting sacred mantras and singing devotional songs has been a powerful tonic for self doubt, fear and uncertainty. She is honoured to hold that space to open our hearts and sing the sacred medicine sounds, and to dance and embody our intentions.

She approaches life with compassion in her heart and softness in her eyes. She walks gently on the Earth acknowledging there is so much beauty and a gift in everything; the struggles and challenges are part of the path of purification and inner transformation. She knows what it feels like to feel scared or fearful of plunging into the great mystery and holds so much compassion and respect to all who choose to heal + transform. Together we will learn and grow and deepen in our purpose.

Hannah Sapphire

Hannah practices and facilitates Traditional Hatha + Tantra Yoga. The space she channels in her sessions is that of safety with the frequency of Aum as one returns to a sensation of home. She guides one on a somatic level with awareness of nervous tensions and traumas that may surface. She cocreates with sacred intention, gentleness of heart and carries the potency of this lineage with much honour. Hannah is with much gratitude to be of service with these codes + immerse herself daily in divine yogic life.

She is with the awareness of the royal frequencies that can be tapped into and grounded with the practice. She is a devotee of Shiva, working in harmony with the elements and planets using technical and spiritual alchemical tool passed down through the teachings of the higher realms.

She has been living and learning in Mexico close to the earth in conscious community . She is with the value of inner sourcing and harmonisation with the one field of awareness. She is a healer and student and works closely with Plant Medicine and Ayurvedic Herbs to know remedies and frequencies of health and attunement. She studies conscious communication and language of the now.

The medicine of her voice is in tune with 432. With intention and prayer she sings in kirtan and dances Shakti Dance. Mantra is a potent element of her daily ritual and welcomes in every blessing with this life through this channel of trust.

She is the daughter of Madre Tierra and Padre Sol. She has a strong connection to this mothering flow which is soft and graceful and she activates her radiant heart to unlock courage through initiations of wild adventure in her travels of seven years across the world.

Jaime Vayu

Jaime Vayu, known by Vayu in the spirit community, lives his life with intention. He is with the vision to create a world in Aum - the primordial sound of creation in complete knowing with source.

He holds the wisdom of ancient biodynamic growing technology and works with the lunar cycles to restore balance and harmony with the Earth. He has a bio dynamic farm in Wisconsin USA where he nourishes the Earth and soil with nutrients, he listens to the mother earth and what she needs on each day to thrive in her environment. He grows fruits, veggies and herbs all super size and all delicious! He also grows CBD with intention and the sacred geometry in which it is cultivated unlocks the pure healing quality of this plant spirit.

He is a passionate about organic living from the threads he wears to the oils he cooks with. All must be sourced in the natural frequency of Earth so that the chemical matrix can no longer feed off our health.

He blesses each part of his life and meditates in 432 hz frequencies tuning in with the channel of source. He also creates and runs a organic skincare business using ancient herbs of Mexico and the Americas. His skincare is well loved by many who have seen the balance restored on their face.

On this retreat you can hear about Vayus experience with the lunar cycles and how this wisdom can transform your life. With intentional daily living by the moon and knowing how to nourish your body on each day of the lunar cycle , we can guide ourselves to balance in full health and happiness.

Vayu is also an astrologer of Vedic and Western practices. He is highly intuitive and is passionate about communicating with the energies of the stars. Marie Alma

Marie Alma is a daughter of the Earth, walking with much gratitude for the gift of life. Her offering in the Now is that of deep journeys on one’s own sacred breath. The space she holds with the breath is one of ceremony, with a strong loving presence, so those participating can surrender safely supported into the depths of their being and essentially connect to the Oneness of existence.

After walking her own transformational path exploring different styles of Breathwork on different continents, she found her true teacher in India, with whom she started to train and learn how to share this beautiful gift. Since then she has been holding space for Breathwork Ceremonies in India, Belgium and Mexico. It is her passion to keep on sharing this amazing tool we all have access to.

In her sessions she combines a variety of practises and tools she has carefully picked out on her years of nomadic living and soul exploration. She also offers the option of Sacred Plant Medicines that merge beautifully with the journey’s on breath.

Marie Alma loves to connect in breath, song, dance, and the silence of pure loving presence. She welcomes you with with all of her heart, on a journey into mystery.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Can I join if I have never done Yoga before?

We welcome all levels of yoga and hold the space accordingly. We are two facilitators who will guide you with a hands on approach.

Do I need ceremony experience?

No, If this is your first ceremony its good for us to know. This retreat it designed to give you a gentle and easeful entry point into the structure of ceremony. You will learn how to hold space within a container and become familiar with the formalities we share.

What is Rapé ?

Rape is an ancient herbal blend with the origin of the amazonian rainforest. It is worked with to clarify the pineal gland and inner vision. Its qualities are centering, balancing and grounding. The application is administered through a pipe and blown through the nostril passageways. All our herbs that we share are optional.

What is 432 Hertz?

432 Hertz is the frequency of the heart chakra. It is with the natural harmony of the earth. This healing frequency opens and clears all matters of the heart according to Yoga.

What are moon cycles?

According to the Lunar movements across the sky through different star constellations we receive energy transmissions that influence the field on Earth and all of us here. We can work with these cycles with the awareness of the New Moon and Full Moon and through all the elemental signs.

Can I buy clothing and prayer beads in Greece?

You have the option to pre order your prayer beads or clothing before the retreat and we will also have ceremonial clothing, tools, prayer beads and our herbal shop at the retreat available to buy.

Who will I be sharing a room with?

We will assign rooms. If you would like to share with someone in particular, please let us know in advance.

How do I exchange money?

It is good to organise the money in your country or at the airport. Greece uses EURO currency.

Is the deposit refundable?

The 50% deposit is non-refundable once paid.

Up until which date can I cancel?

A cancellation made within 60 – 45 days before arrival, we can provide a 50% refund (not including the deposit). A cancellation made less than 45 days before arrival (i.e. 16th June 2022) or no-show will automatically be considered as non-refundable.

What happens if restrictions change and I can't get to greece?

If a cancellation is due to reasons such as force majeure, COVID-19 and can be verified, we can will provide the option of a refund or to reschedule a retreat with us.

Are there any travel restrictions in Greece?

All travellers can now enter Greece restriction-free. The Greek Ministry of Health said that from May 1, all incoming travellers would no longer have to follow any rules. This means that all travellers, regardless of their country of origin, can enter Greece without having to provide COVID-19 proof – a vaccination, recovery, or test certificate – upon their arrival.
