Originally from Batavia, Illinois, Corey Williams graduated in 1992 from Batavia High School a National Honors Society member and 4 year starter on the varsity. While at Batavia, Corey broke the all time scoring record previously held by NBA legend Dan Issel while leading the Bulldogs to 4 conference titles along with 3 All-State selections. Williams was a key player on the 1991 Bulldog team which reached the Illinois State Semi-Finals for the first time since 1915 and appeared in the critically acclaimed film “Hoop Dreams”.

In 1996 Corey graduated from the University of Arizona with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science.
After graduating college, Williams went on to have a successful 12 year professional basketball career playing in countries all over the world. His career and travels have led him to Canada, Venezuela, the Philippines, Belgium, Switzerland, and Luxembourg.
In the summer of 2004 Williams founded the Tucson Summer Pro League, an NCAA certified summer league for student athletes, which also featured NBA. In 2007 Williams expanded the league to Phoenix Arizona where he partnered with Phoenix Suns’ superstar Amare Stoudemire
In addition to his leagues, Williams has remained in the Arizona community with basketball camps for boys and girls along with internship programs for youths.
He currently founded and is the Executive Director of SPL Sports Inc. which is a non-profit organization focused on providing free sports and fitness programs to Arizona youths.
Corey Williams began his TV broadcasting career in 2009 when he was chosen to be the color analyst for the University of Arizona’s Men’s Basketball broadcasts with IMG. Since then he has become a prime time analyst for ESPN across all of their channels.
Corey currently resides in Tucson, AZ where he is Vice President at Crest Insurance Group one of Arizona’s premier agencies.
