In this Month, student was introduced to the concept of Raga and Raga Kedar ( Aaroh, Avroh, Pakad and Bandish ). He was also introduced to Teen Taal and its structure.

A LITTLE ABOUT ME

Hello everyone ! I am Namrata Rawat , Indian Vocals Music Teacher at Lancers International School. It' s my 2nd Session working here and previously I have worked in other Schools as well. I have completed my schooling from Delhi and my Graduation in Applied Psychology from Gargi College, Delhi University. As far as my qualification in Music is concerned, I did Visharad Poorna (Graduation) in Indian Classical Vocal Music from Gandharva Mahavidyalaya.

I pursued Masters in Indian Classical Vocal Music from Venkateshwara University. Since learning is a lifelong process, I am presently learning Piano and Western Vocals from Trinity College London.

I enjoy teaching Music and Instruments and am committed to create a classroom atmosphere that is interactive and fun.
