I usually go there for a day or two during the school year to relax and forget about the stuff that stresses me out. But the month I really look forward to is July. On the first or second day of the month I go to Momchilovtsi with my family. And it is the perfect time because then my cousin and his parents come back from Finland. With more people in the house the life there becomes more intresting and fun. And we stay there for the first half of the summer.
The life in the village is much calmer than in Smolyan and that's why I like staying there so much. And the fact that there are less people living there motivates me to spend more time outside. I spend a lot of time playing card or board games with other kids on the bench outside of the house, but when I get bored of that I go around exploring the village. While I've spent a good amount of time there I still have not seen everything, but my favourite place is probably "Ayazmoto" which is something like a small church (temple) located in the woods. It has what's thought by the villagrers to be holy water coming out of a stone/cave. It is also a great reading spot except for when people come out of nowhere.
Another one of my favourite activities in the village is going around and petting animals. There are some animals that I can't see in my town like sheep, ducks, donkeys etc. so it's kind of like going to a petting zoo. The owners give me permission to see the animals since they know my parents, and they are even happy about their animals receiving attention. My favourite animal that I take on walks almost every day is my neighbour's dog - Gigi. I've known her since she was a puppy and that's why she is so dear to me.
