KATE CORNISH By Diamonds Camera

Kate Cornish is a cinematographer and director from Sydney, Australia. She currently serves as an ambassador for Canon Australia.

After studying under scholarship at Sydney Film School, Kate worked as a prep technician at Panavision Sydney where she managed the equipment used on various commercials and feature films.

As Kate launched her freelance career she began to make her mark directing & shooting comedy - most notably for SBS’s THE FEED in 2019. Kate's current work spans across the narrative, documentary and music video spaces.

Canon Ambassador, Kate Cornish is a freelance cinematographer, director and photographer and has been obsessed with film since childhood.

in the workshop "Breakout" Kate will be sharing her thought process, how she makes creative decisions, how she approaches a project, her workflow, and how certain camera settings, camera movements and lighting styles can be used to achieve creative results.

Not only is Kate an established photographer she is a talented director & cinematographer.

In the "Making her Mark" seminar, you'll be inspired by Kate Cornish.

Kate will cover topics from perfecting her craft, shooting Indie music videos, short films, documentaries and other commercial work for TV as well as how she is making her mark on the industry with her distinct and personal style.
