Dr. Jamie Perry, Associate Professor and Chair in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSDI), was named 15-16 CAHS Scholar-Teacher.

From 2013-2016, Dr. Ning Zhou, CSDI Assistant Professor, was an ECU CAHS Start-Up fund recipient. Her research area is cochlear implants with a specific interest in improving the communication abilities of individuals with cochlear implants. In 2016, Dr. Zhou was awarded a NIH/NIDCD R03 Research Grant totaling $432,484 for three years.
