This is certainly a sight for sore eyes. Campus is still here, even as we work on serving you no matter where you are. We hope that we can all return sooner rather than later and that Centre still remains a little home for you, no matter where you go.
ODI Connections Virtual Programming
We're finishing up Week Five of our Connections Virtual Programming on Instagram (@CentreInclusion) to engage with students, share resources, and continue discussions on access, diversity, equity, and inclusion. We'll be continuing this programming until the end of the semester. On Wednesdays, Ashley Oliver and Jo Teut will be hosting virtual drop in spaces to connect with students via zoom link they received via email.
Below, you can see some of our highlights from last week.
As always, reach out when you need it. Our contact information and other resources are below.
Resources for Students
As the world has drastically changed in the past few weeks, and in many ways, stayed the same, we gathered these resources that might be useful to you.
- Self-Care Tips For Asian Americans Dealing With Racism Amid Coronavirus
- Resources for Undocumented Immigrants and their Families during COVID-19
- Student’s Guide to Radical Healing
- Online Resources for Survivors, Sexual Violence-Focused Student Activists & Peer Educators
Self-Care
Taking care of yourself during this time of uncertainty is so important that we created this Self-Care Resource to walk you through what self-care is to making your own self-care plan. You can also revisit our ODI Matters, April 2020 for more information about self-care and setting boundaries at home.
Enjoy some free, social justice, print-at-home coloring pages, some from Ruth E. Carter, Ricardo Levins Morales, and our own Centre College.
If you are missing Kentucky, you can see a bunch of local sites virtually.
Let's talk about race and social justice.
If you weren't doing it before, now is certainly the time to talk about race and social justice. We've gathered resources to better equip you to discuss race in the context of COVID-19, including general education, toolkits for action, and other toolkits for dialogue and intentional intervening.
