Purdue Basketball Weekly Rewind Purdue posts its most impressive week of the young season with victories over louisville, maryland and northwestern

Purdue has now won four straight games, having perhaps the best week of any team nationally.

The Boilermakers have defeated No. 2-ranked Arizona (89-64), No. 17-ranked Louisville (66-57), Maryland on the road (80-75) and Northwestern (74-69). All four wins have come against teams ranked in KenPom's top 55, and gives Purdue a 2-0 Big Ten record for the first time in three years.

Purdue's five wins over KenPom top-70 teams are the most in the country.

Purdue has won seven of its last eight games against nationally-ranked foes.

Purdue's 12-game homecourt winning streak is now the 11th-longest streak in America.

Over the last 38 games with The Paint Crew in attendance, the Boilermakers are 37-1.

Purdue's 37 home wins since the start of 2015-16 are the seventh-most nationally. Purdue is 37-3 at home during that span.

Purdue is now 25-3 against Big Ten foes at Mackey Arena since the start of the 2014-15 season, having won eight straight against league opponents.

Purdue improved to 10-7 all-time during the Big Ten / ACC Challenge with a 66-57 win over Louisville. The Boilermakers are 9-4 under Matt Painter during the event.

The 10 wins are the most by a Big Ten team.

Purdue has won eight of their last nine Big Ten / ACC Challenge games.

Isaac Haas averaged 23.5 points and 7.0 rebounds in Purdue's two Big Ten wins this week.

He tied a career high with 26 points against Northwestern, and tied a career high with four blocks against Maryland.

For the season, Haas is averaging 15.7 points per game while shooting 62.7 percent from the field.

Haas was named the Big Ten Player of the Week for his efforts.

Matt Haarms ranks second in the country in total blocked shots with 32.

He has blocked 16 shots in 67 minutes during the last four games.

Haarms has had five games ALREADY of four of more blocked shots. By contrast, A.J. Hammons as a freshman had four games of four or more blocked shots ALL SEASON.

Ryan Cline had his best game of the season in the win over Northwestern with 13 points, two assists and a rebound in 25 minutes.

Cline went 3-of-4 from long distance and Purdue is now 34-4 when he dishes out two or more assists in a game.

Dakota Mathias averaged 14.5 points, 7.0 assists and 5.0 rebounds per game in Purdue's two Big Ten victories.

Mathias NEARLY became the first Purdue player in 30 years to post a 20-point, 10 assist game, when he tallied 20 points with 9 assists in the win over Maryland.

Mathias is 1-of-3 players nationally to average 15.0 points, 4.5 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game while shooting at least 50.0 percent from 3-point range (Arizona State's Tra Holder, Penn State's Tony Carr).

Carsen Edwards continues to lead the team in scoring at 16.3 points per game. He averaged 12.3 points, 3.0 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game during the week, surpassing the 500-point mark for his career in the win over Maryland.

P.J. Thompson continues to play at a high level at the point guard position.

He has had one or fewer turnovers in all 10 games this year and in 95-of-110 career games.

Thompson is shooting 17-of-18 (.944) from the free throw line and 22-of-43 (.512) from 3-point range on the season.
