Biography

Greetings! My name is Diana Hinojosa, and I was born and raised in Laredo, Texas. I am a proud mother of two children who are also students of Laredo College and I am married to a loving and supportive husband.

Throughout my academic journey, I obtained an associate in arts from Laredo College, a Bachelor's in Communication, and a Master's in Public Administration from Texas A&M International University. I am excited to be part of the inaugural graduating class of the Bachelors in Organizational Leadership program.

I am currently employed at the Community and Relations Department for Laredo College as one of the graphic designers. My other roles are as a digital marketing specialist and photographer. We support over 100 departments with flyers, posters, brochures, programs, and more.

The leadership program has allowed me to gain leadership knowledge and gather the strength to stand up and be seen. I use the skills and encouragement from my professors and implement them in my career goals in hopes that one day I might move up the ladder and gain a leadership role. The BASORGL program also encouraged me to pursue my studies in a doctoral program for organizational leadership to become a professor in the field. My biggest achievement is to serve as a role model for my children to show them through hard work and a good college education you can achieve your dreams.

I love working with people. My talents have allowed me to open a small photo and design business, D&D Media. I am also a big nerd. I love everything movie related and especially love the Marvel cinematic universe.
