Composing and compositing images. Things to consider:
- What is the intent? What does it illustrate? You're starting to tell a story....
- Gather your work in one place, insure it is of high quality, err on have multiple selections.
- When creating or choosing photographs, consider the angle, the lighting, the color. Consistency is important, but you can use contrasts effectively too.
- Good file management will save you a ton of time. Name a folder for the project and place all the content in it.
- Select the right tool for the job. Adobe Express can do much of this, but Photoshop is great for projects that need a greater finesse or complexity.
Art you may use, but we highly encourage you to use your own.
- Log on to Adobe Express: http://express.adobe.com
- click the big + sign at left to create a new project
- Choose Custom Size Graphic
- Choose Standard and then Banner
- At the left choose Photos
- Upload a background photo of your choice and resize to fill the frame
- choose Photos again, and upload the foreground photo (headshot or other art)
- Knock out the background
- Change effects, color, blending, etc to better suit your intention
- add Text (select Text at left) and stylize
- Save as a template if you want to reuse the design
- Download your creation and submit.
