Winter Guard News
Congratulations to our Winter Guard on a great performance yesterday in their first ever WGI (Winter Guard International) Regional! L.D. Bell placed sixth in their round in a very competitive field. The Guard competes this coming Friday evening at The Colony High School at 7:25 pm.
This coming Saturday, the Guard will perform their show, "This Moment", at 7:00 pm in their Spring Showcase. Admission is $10 (proceeds support the Winter Guard program at L.D. Bell). Come check out all of the incredible work these students have put in so far this season!
Band Booster/Parent Informational Meeting- Tuesday, March 21- 7:00 pm
Join us this Tuesday evening, March 21 in the L.D. Bell Auditorium as we will have a parent meeting to share information about the 2023-24 school year including Spring Training dates, June Camp, Summer Band, marching season dates and more. We will be inviting all incoming sophomore families as well. Come out and welcome the new parents to the Blue Raider Band Family!
Brian Isbell Memorial Scholarship Application
Brian Isbell was a member of the drum line here at Bell, and he graduated in 1993. Brian passed away in 2012, at the young age of 37. Brian’s life was immeasurably influenced by the experiences he gained and the friends he made in the L. D. Bell band program. His family and friends wish to share some of the richness that Brian brought to their lives by offering this scholarship. The scholarship is open to all L.D. Bell band seniors attending a college or university next year, regardless of the student’s intended major. Click the link below to access the application. Wind Symphony Send-Off Concert
Sunday, March 26- 3:00 pm
The L.D. Bell Wind Symphony along with the Central Junior High Percussion Ensemble and Central Junior High Symphonic Band, will present their concert programs for the Music for All National Concert Band Festival at a special send-off concert on Sunday, March 26 at 3 pm in the Keller Central HS Auditorium (9450 Ray White Rd, Fort Worth, TX). Admission is free.
Pre-UIL- Tuesday, March 28- 5:30-9:30 pm
The Concert Band, Symphonic Band, and Wind Symphony will perform their Pre-UIL Concert & Sight-Reading on Tuesday, March 28 in the L.D. Bell Auditorium. All students will wear their formal concert uniform. Parents are invited and encouraged to attend the performances!

Remember that Band Fees must be paid off in order to buy a ticket to Band Banquet and receive your Band Yearbook! If you need to make a payment you can pay in one of three ways:
