OVERVIEW
After an audit of school facilities in 2017 followed by the vote of approval for the city-wide tax increase in 2019, Mountain Brook Schools moved quickly to launch its construction campaign to make necessary renovations across various school campuses. Demolition began at Mountain Brook Junior High in May 2021 at the conclusion of the school year.

The auditorium existed in what is now the multipurpose space. Chairs were removed and the area was leveled to create room for an expanded multipurpose room.
