Florida Born and Raised

  • Edgerrin was born and raised in Florida and attended the University of Miami, where he was inducted into the University of Miami Sports Hall of Fame on April 23, 2009
  • Currently resides in Miami and Orlando for most of the year

Family

  • Father to six children who are all on their way to great things; daughter, Emani, wants to be a plastic surgeon. His son, Eden, is off to college and another daughter, Eyahna, is on her way to becoming a singer as per The Undefeated
  • In 2009, the mother of four of his children, Andia Wilson, tragically passed away from leukemia at 30 years old--Edgerrin has been a strong supporter and advocate for the American Cancer Society ever since her passing

Post-Career

  • Wrote his own autobiography in 2020 called 'From Gold Tooth to Gold Jacket", with a foreward written by Peyton Manning
  • Loves to spend time with all of his kids and head to all of their various sporting events
  • Since ending his pro career, has been a strong advocate for CBD and other natural remedies to help heal chronic paid and injuries
