"The less prudence with which others conduct their affairs, the greater the prudence with which we should conduct our own affairs." ~Warren Buffet

Welcome,

My name is Jacquelyn George and I am currently a senior at California State University, Fullerton. I started to pursue my degree at CSUF as a transfer student from Long Beach City College after leaving my home town in Northern California. Growing up with financially savvy parents began the interest that chose me to concentrate in Finance for my Bachelor's degree.

During my first semester at CSUF, I joined the Coed Professional Business fraternity, Delta Sigma Pi. Through Delta Sigma Pi, I have met many students and professionals through events and socials that have allowed me to start my journey of being a successful business woman. During the Spring semester of 2022, I was elected to be the Vice President of Alumni Relations. Through this position I learned how to utilize the power of networking, planning and successfully executing.

For the past 2.5 years I have worked in the service industry as a server which has allowed me to work on communicating and working through discrepancies with customers. Through this I have also met a lot of working professionals who happened to be in the finance industry. A connection that was made led me to working at a small business management company in the summer of 2021 called Clearwater Management Services in Los Alamitos, Ca. Through this summer I was able to learn how to process payroll and gain basic experience with Quickbooks to reconcile bank accounts.

After graduation in Spring 2023, I plan on going into the Finance industry to pursue a career as a financial analyst or financial consulting. My goal is work my way up to level in my career that will give me the flexibility to give back to the clients and people in my life. I want to advise people with finances not only in a professional setting, but also in a casual setting where finance knowledge and conversations happen naturally.
