Choose from 3 flexible degree completion options:

  • Research-based: Complete 8 courses, conduct graduate research, and submit a master’s thesis
  • Co-op and Internship: Take a combination of courses, a six-credit paid internship/research opportunity with a sponsoring company, and submit a research-based essay
  • Courses-only: Complete 10 courses with intensive exposure to advanced topics in mechanical engineering; no master’s essay or thesis required
