UFRSD #NextLevelRedbirds Update November 4, 2022

Congratulations to our Girls XC Team for winning the Group 3 Central Regional Sectionals and to our Redbird Marching Band for winning their State Championship!

November 4, 2022

Dear UFRSD Family,

It's November! The weather seems to be holding up, and we are set for a beautiful weekend ahead.

The last few weeks of October were filled with great energy! The UFRPTA and UFREF (Ed. Foundation) continued to support our teachers and students by holding the NES Walkathon, the SBMS Science Night Live and the Redbird Rumble. Additionally, our UFREF provided almost $15,000 in grants to our teachers at all of our schools during this Fall cycle of grants. Both, the UFREF and UFRPTA are instrumental in helping things move to the next level in our classrooms. Thank you!

We also saw some amazing accomplishments by our students as well. Our Redbird Marching Band won their State Championship and our AHS Girls Cross Country Team won their Sectional State Championship. Both have very important competitions this weekend! Also, the SBMS Girls Soccer Team finished their season with a perfect, undefeated record!!! Finally, our AHS boys and girls soccer teams kept us cheering throughout the past week, and our boys will be competing Saturday night (5:00 p.m.) at Robbinsville HS for the Sectional State Championship.

Finally, the district partnered with Homes for Veterans (link to donation page) to support our disabled veterans during this time of year when Veterans Day is recognized throughout the United States. All donations from our community will give veterans barrier-free assistance in their homes.

There is a lot more scheduled in November, so stay tuned!

My best,

Mark Guterl
