Roger William Corman is an American film director, producer, and actor. He has been called "The Pope of Pop Cinema" and is known as a trailblazer in the world of independent film. Roger Corman collaborated with Burt Shonberg on two projects, his well known adaptations of Edgar Allan Poe's "The House of Usher" (1960) and "The Premature Burial" (1962). Both films use the art not merely as background images, but as integral parts of the story telling.
