"Those who plant in tears will harvest with shouts of joy!" Psalm 126:5

CHRISTMAS PARTY OF THE YEAR

This year -you guessed it- the Pasture Valley T-shirts are pink! Although this party usually involves a fair bit of prepping and planning (it's definitely an all-hands-on-deck kind of event), it is always so worth it to see the wonder in the children's eyes and the joy on their faces!

We hope they had fun!

LUKE 14: 12-14

"Then Jesus said to his host, “When you give a luncheon or dinner, do not invite your friends, your brothers or sisters, your relatives, or your rich neighbours; if you do, they may invite you back and so you will be repaid. But when you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, and the blind, and you will be blessed. Although they cannot repay you, you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous.”

SUNDAY SCHOOL OUTING

The little ones in the Sunday school paid a visit to Aunty Princess's church the other day! They were busy almost the whole day, and the 'children's rally' involved lots of singing and dancing and stories!

MERCY AIR FOOD DELIVERIES

We are so grateful to Mercy Air for helping us out with delivering food parcels and Jesus Messiah books! This saves our lovely social workers lots of time and we are still able to deliver food to those in need.

FRUIT HARVEST

Meanwhile, back at Pasture Valley, we are in the middle of fruit harvest! We are so grateful to God for making the trees grow and bear fruit.

GRADUATES

Mechanics

Neliswa and Sandile graduate with their diesel mechanics and motor mechanics certificates! We are so proud of these handsome boys.

OM

Image also graduated from her course with OM and is wanting to continue with serving God on the mission field.

STREEC

The third intake of students for STREEC has also graduated! We hope they will be pioneers in renewable energy in eSwatini.

Prom Night

These three girls organised an amazing prom night to celebrate finishing their form 5! It came complete with outfits, speeches, entertainment and even a sleepover. Even the PV staff got the rare opportunity to dress up a little.

STREEC GOES FLYING!

The STREEC team went to conference in Kenya, where they had the opportunity to network and learn about what is happening in the exciting field of renewable energy!

TEACHERS LUNCHEON

It has been quite a roller-coaster of a year with starting to home- school most of the kids. We are so grateful for our wonderful teachers who work hard to make sure the children receive a good education. To celebrate the end of the year, we had lunch party together in town.

CHRISTMAS HAMPERS

With the help of Mr Ngwenya from Makhonza, a Christmas party was also organised for over 50 people living with disabilities in the area. We are grateful God has given us an open door in this area!
