Grant Fleming, USPTA

Director of Racquet Sports

As a passionate and seasoned tennis coach with 15 years of experience, Grant dedicated his career to inspiring and guiding players of all levels to reach their full potential. His own tennis journey has been a driving force behind his coaching philosophy.

As a competitive player, he achieved a Top 50 national junior ranking, multiple records at UMKC, three Summit League Championships, and was honored as Summit League Player of the Year. As a coach, he has worked with talented players, including multiple Top 10 national junior players, State champions, and have led successful junior and adult programs across Kansas City.

Grant joined Milburn in 2025 and his philosophy is simple: 'Helping players reach their potential and growing their love for the sport.' He provides personalized guidance, support, and encouragement to help players achieve their goals and develop a lifelong passion for racquet sports.

Drew Surface, USPTA

Head Tennis Professional

Drew has been playing tennis since he was 4 years old and played USTA tournaments from 8 years old to 18 years old. He played many national tournaments and enjoyed traveling the US playing. He finished his competitive play by getting 3rd at State and 1st as a team. He joined Milburn in 2022 and has been instructing tennis since 2013 running multiple programs that have been very successful. He has been USPTA certified since 2018 and enjoys teaching all age ranges.

Nic Goslar

Tennis Junior Programs Professional

Nic, originally from Reading, England, brings a wealth of experience from both global and collegiate tennis backgrounds. He began his tennis journey in Reading before training and competing in Spain, where he participated in national and international junior tournaments. This experience provided invaluable insights from one of the world’s premier tennis training environments.

Nic’s coaching journey began at the same academy in Spain where he trained, allowing him to develop a deep understanding of player development from both sides of the court. As captain of the Lincoln Memorial University tennis team, Nic led the team to an impressive national ranking of #32, demonstrating both leadership and a fierce competitive drive.

Nic joined Milburn in 2025 and is passionate about working with players of all ages and skill levels.
