Meet Dan Bickerton, our Immediate Past President and the newest member of the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel & Suites Pittsburgh-Downtown! Dan takes years of experience in the hospitality industry to his new role with a background in Catering, Sales and Operations. Dan's clients have said " Dan was terrific to work with" and that he "always fielded any question we had professionally and promptly". When asked about his new role, Dan stated that he is so excited to join the amazing team at the DoubleTree Pittsburgh-Downtown, and that if anyone wants a cookie to just come on in for a "Warm Welcome" and tour! Outside of work, Dan is a new dog dad to miss Daisy Mae, and can often be found walking her around a local park, or as he is known best, enjoying a taco or margarita! 🌮🍹

Party Scene Design is bringing modern and unique backdrops and other event rentals to the Pittsburgh party market.
They saw a need in the Pittsburgh party scene and realized photo backdrops were the one thing that could easily elevate a party. They have an ever-growing inventory including boxwoods, wooden arches, copper pipe frames, wooden shapes and more that can be accessorized with dried florals, wooden signs, neon signs, custom vinyl and rugs.
They have now expanded their inventory to include bars, flower carts, chairs, couches and more!
Almost everything you see on their site is made by them in their workshop. So if there is something you want that you don’t see in their inventory, chances are they can build it for you.
