Bio
Jon Harris Jr. started his percussion career in Milwaukee, Wisconsin playing for local churches. He went on to study recording and music technology at Madison Media Institute (MMI).
With his education and great skill he has graced stages throughout the midwest playing genres from R&B, Gospel, Jazz, and Indie Rock. Some groups he has played with are R&B band Cigarette Break, Milwaukee rapper Klassik, Chicago’s The Phil Seed Trio, gospel group Anthony McGahee & Praise Motivated (AM:PM), Latin Artist Sè Bas, Madison’s Kinfolk, and Indie Rock band Paper Holland. Jon has played every major stage in Milwaukee, stages from Turner Hall Ballroom to Summerfest. Jon has made a name for himself based on his skill and clear passion for the art of percussion.
