Team ŌYL {for Educators}

Congratulations!

Making the choice to educate your prospects, customers, sharers and builders on a consistent, duplicatable basis by following these guidelines will ensure a solid foundation for your organization. This page will be your home base, providing all the resources, links, and class info you need to teach the basic Essential Oils Made Easy class and every Continuing Ed class. So lean in and commit to learning and leading your team well.

Essential Oils Made Easy Class

This isn't a Continuing Ed class, persay, but to keep things streamlined, we're going to put all of the info you need to teach an effective, fun, and duplicatable EOs Made Easy class right here for you. This is an OPEN class for team members AND prospects. {Remember, the Continuing Education series below is for members only—a fabulous perk of being on Team OYL!} So this EOs Made Easy class is a great way for prospects to experience our team culture. The Essential Oils Made Easy class is a critical component of your oil education rotation. Ideally, you're teaching once a week and inviting your sampled prospects onto this call. For more info on effective sampling, please see the Daily Mentor Calls. Be sure you teach this following the scripts to make it 100% duplicatable!

To teach an EOs Made Easy class online, you'll need a couple of things:

  1. Peppermint & Wild Orange essential oils to experience during the class; for online, you'll be modeling experiences and guiding those who have these two samples on hand
  2. The class PDF or PPT; use whatever works for you; you can see examples in Victoria (using PPT) and Ally's (using PDF) videos below
  3. The teaching script; memorize it for in-person or get good at reading it like you aren't reading if you're teaching online! This version has the class parts highlighted for ease of use
  4. The Enrollment Kits PDF for your market. They change often. Have the most up-to-date version.... Google it!
  5. Enrollment Kits Introduction for your market. You may need to write this out or use her scripts. Here's a basic one for China.
  6. The Build Guide (for the Basic Business Intro, aka BBI, you'll do right after)
  7. The script for the BBI

Here are two different samples of the full Class and BBI done on Zoom, and Allyse's class done live in a living room.

Continuing Ed

Continuing Education is where new users become exposed to the vast possibilities of essential oils and oil-inspired products. You want your customers participating in Continuing Ed because this is where they become customers for life. The goal is to help them find 4-5 products that they just can't live without.

How it works

It's simple: Customers need to attend all 9 product classes and/or 4 business classes to qualify to earn a prize and get a Certificate of Completion. Allyse recommends a diffuser as a prize and some business building tool for those completing the business classes (like a sampling kit with 1mL or 5/8 dram bottles); you can do provide whatever you feel will get your customers excited. Make it duplicatable. Remember—your customers are giving 9 hours of their life to learn and you're getting a customer for LIFE. Your business leaders are giving an additional 4 and will be duplicating this through your organization. What is this worth to you?

Here's what the card looks like. Download the jpg version here and send it to your customers online, or print it and hand it out to them in the class.

{This card is the card your customers need to fill out. Any date, any Team OYL Trainer qualifies!}

Calendar

Where can you and your customers find the Continuing Ed classes? The Team ŌYL leaders who are teaching Continuing Ed in this way all share their open classes on the Team ŌYL Google Cal. Check it out here, add your classes, and be sure your Continuing Ed customers also know that they can tap into these classes as well to fill out their Continuing Ed card.

Inviting to Continuing Ed

Whether you're teaching the Continuing Ed classes yourself, or you're plugging your people into someone else's class, your critical role is to invite your customers in their Wellness Consult and ensure they get plugged in. Here's a sample script that you can memorize and share in the Wellness Consult:

“You’re doing an incredible job at investing in a natural lifestyle, and I want you to get the absolute most of this. Because you have enrolled with doTERRA you receive free essential oil education that I want you to take advantage of because it’s amazing. There are literally endless possibilities: Balancing hormones, natural weight loss, pain management, mood and emotional support, detoxing, and lots more."

“The good news is that you get this for free, but you’re going to want to participate while all of this is fresh in your memory. I’m going to plug you into it, and all I want you to do is to have fun learning and exploring. See how many areas of your life you can improve because you know how to use essential oils now.”

Find these scripts and so much more at www.dailymentorcalls.com.

Provide excellent customer service

Don’t drop them at the doorstep! If you are plugging customers and new builders into an existing Continuing Ed program, don’t just dump them and leave them! Participate. If your team has live Continuing Ed classes, attend them with your customers. And calling onto a Zoom class with them is a great way to show your leadership, too.

The Curriculum: Product

You are not on your own. The classes are done, handouts made, and teacher guides provided. Anyone can teach this. To ensure the classes remain duplicatable, stick to the teachers guide and the info below. We want all of the attendees to leave your class thinking, "Well, I could teach that, too!"

Talking LRP

At the end of EACH Continuing Ed class (NOT the EOs Made Easy class), do a short explanation of the Loyalty Rewards Program (LRP). Here's a page you can use with a LRP video and a graphic that will help you walk through the importance and value of the LRP program. Be sure to re-do Call 29 if you need a refresher on LRP! Note: do NOT go through this entire page on a call. Use the content to find a way for you to teach that makes sense to you and helps your customers answer the questions at the bottom of the page. Every customer needs to understand the value and benefits of ordering on LRP. Even if it begins to feel repetitive, don't skimp on this part!

(Class 1) {Message: don't worry, we've got your back with a fab training system that is free!}

Or, "After this class, stick around with us if you'd like to experience the joy of sharing essential oils. Today, we'll be going over the compensation plan to understand the ways that doTERRA pays those of us who share oils." (Class 2) {Message: doTERRA pays us, our customers don't...}

Or, "After this class, stick around with us if you'd like to experience the joy of sharing essential oils. Today, we'll be covering how to teach a super effective, really fun Essential Oils Made Easy class! It's a great class and we'll see just how anyone can teach!" Or, "After this class, stick around with us if you'd like to experience the joy of sharing essential oils. Today, we'll be learning the simple steps we need to take to a profitable doTERRA business." (Class 4) {Message: this is simple, and doTERRA can be profitable}
