真白い紙に線を描く。

自分の心にある不安の殻を勇気を持って破り最初の一筆に取り組む。真白い紙に一本の線を引くのは、勇気がいるし慎重になるけど、10本、100本と描けば気にならない。逆に自身の軌跡がそこに綴られて味となり作風となる。

紙と鉛筆は魔法の道具也。

線と筆圧

ミミズが這ったような弱々しい線は嫌いだ。

魂や思いが伝わらない。ポジティブで改革や革新する表現の線画が自分には合っている。なのでついつい筆圧は強く、エンピツはよく折ってしまう。

好きな絵と嫌いな絵

自身で描いた絵が好きか嫌いかと言われれば、微妙である。もともと上手いわけでもなく、世界中に上手な人はたくさんいる。失敗もあっていつも気持ちよく描けるわけじゃない。反省の方が多いかもだから工夫がある。気持ちよく描けた時の絵は自分でいつまでも持っておきたい飾っておきたいと思う好きな絵が多い。そうしたスケッチを眺めるのが楽しく日々の暮らしや心を幸せにしてくれる。

Favorite pictures and disliked pictures

Such pictures are not picturesque for people, they are pictures I'd like to decorate with themselves. Such pictures make us a happy and happy life every day.

道具

紙の感触。鉛筆やペンのタッチ、筆感。硬さ柔らかさ。絵の具と筆のバランス。水の含み具合。自身の体と心のバランス。表現される絵。そうしたものがピタッとはまったときにいい絵が出来上がる。だから道具はいつもこだわるし探し続けてしまう。上手く描ける要素の50％以上は道具だと思う。

tool

When these things merge well, a good picture is made. So I always stick with tools. And keep searching. I think that over 50% of the elements that I can draw successfully is a tool.

鉛筆画

鉛筆は昔から三菱のUNIを使う。スケッチの時は4Bか6B。着色しないので鉛筆のみでトーンを描く。スケッチは画術をあげる事が目的ではなく、モノを見る目を養う事が重要。車の下の黒い影は1色だけではないはず。モノクロ写真と同じく、鉛筆１本でフォルムとトーン、質感を表現できるのが、デジタル全盛の現代においては知的な創造活動の基礎だと思う。

ラスティックウッド

近所の河原で拾ってきた木材。自然の材料が人間によって人工的に加工されたが、川で流される事で同じものが一つとしてない、自然物に帰化した姿が美しい。
