The ITA Arthur Ashe Jr. Leadership and Sportsmanship Award recognizes outstanding student-athletes in all five divisions at the national level. This prestigious award, which dates back to 1982, is presented to the men’s and women’s national student-athletes who have exhibited outstanding sportsmanship and leadership, as well as scholastic, extracurricular and tennis achievements.
"Brooke is a phenomenal young lady who has had a continual pursuit of excellence her entire time at Jones. She is very intelligent, a pleasure to be around, uplifting, committed, disciplined and trustworthy. She puts others above herself in my opinion too much, but it is one of her greatest traits. I cannot say enough good things about this young lady."
I am extremely excited for Brooke and the honor it is to receive one of the ITA’s most prestigious awards. She is very deserving of this award, and she will only continually reflect such honor through the course of her life.
