Faculty Development Workshops

The Faculty Development Day offers a choice of workshops designed to make it easy for educators to innovate using Adobe Creative Cloud. Each workshop offers a mix of live presentation, small breakout sessions with hands-on learning, and supporting materials to continue your development at your own pace, asynchronously.

- (8:00-8:30 AM PST) Welcome and Overview
- (8:30-9:30 AM PST) Undergraduate Research Journals with Adobe Express (for all levels, novice to expert)
- (9:30-10:00 AM PST) Screen Break and transition to Breakout Rooms
- (10:00-11:00 AM PST) Self-select from three breakout rooms: (1) novice web page, (2) intermediate web page, (3) Adobe Express expert
- (11:00-11:30 AM PST) Screen Break and transition to second workshop
- (11:30 AM-12:30 PM PST) Undergraduate Research Journals with Adobe InDesign (for all levels, novice to expert)
- (12:30 PM- 1:00 PM PST) Screen Break and transition to Breakout Room
- (1:00-2:00 PM PST) Self-select from three breakout rooms: (1) novice InDesign, (2) intermediate InDesign, (3) InDesign expert

PREPARATION
- If you are reading this page, you should have already registered for EduMAX. If you have not registered for EduMAX, contact Lisa Deakes at ldeakes@adobe.com.
- On your laptop or computer well ahead of time: install, launch, and test the applications for the workshops that you will attend (Adobe Creative Cloud Express and Adobe InDesign).
- You will use the same Zoom meeting login all of the sessions and workshops. To keep the Zoom meeting room secure, login details including Zoom link and password will be available only through your email inbox.
- Install the assets you need for the workshops that you will attend from the list in the next section below.
- Browse through the OER textbook Adobe Creative Cloud across the Curriculum, especially the first two chapters, to better understand key concepts of this approach to teaching and learning.
