We have so much to be thankful for this season. We hope that you, your family, and your friends had a well-deserved break spending time together. In this short time between Thanksgiving and Winter Break, we want students to work hard and play hard. Staying focused during school is important. There are a lot of celebrations in this week's SwampBites; it is the season of performances for our fine arts; and we have special dress days for December!
WE ARE THANKFUL FOR ALL OF THESE FOLKS!! CUSTODIAL CREW AND SUPPORT STAFF, TURKEY RACES, RECRUITING, CELEBRATING STUDENT ACCOMPLISHMENTS, STUDENT CELEBRATIONS, AND MORE. IT TAKES A VILLAGE !!

Arlington ISD is looking for performers to participate in the first Talent Showcase for the Arlington MLK Advancing the Dream Weekend Celebration. We are looking for Arlington ISD students or groups, K-12th, to submit entries to be a part of celebrating the life of Martin Luther King, Jr. Please complete this submission by December 1st. All performances must submit an entry video to the MLK Advancing the Dream Talent Showcase Committee by Thursday, December 8th to MLKTalentShowcase@aisd.net. The MLK Advancing the Dream Talent Showcase Committee will select the final acts that will participate in the actual Showcase on January 14th.
