Bridge of Angels
If your time in Rome is too short to stand in the long lines at Vatican City, just a short walk and you'll be at the Bridge of Angels, Ponte Sant'Angelo. There you'll walk between 10 imposingly beautiful angel sculptures ,designed by famous sculptor Gian Lorenzo Bernini. Each sculptured angel symbolizes a part from the story of Jesus Christ’s suffering and death by crucifixion. Statues of the saints Peter and Paul stand in the entrance to the bridge.
