Monticello High School Stars of the Week! Week of January 6th, 2020

Jeffrey Henrikson

Jeffrey was responsible for all three goals in the Moose 3-1 win over North Branch on Jan. 9. The three goals were assisted by Huntley Hinz, Jacob Sorenson and Gunnar Sibley. Henrikson leads the team with 14 goals and 27 points on the season and has registered a point in 12 of the Moose's 15 contests this season. The team is 9-5-1 this year.

Maddy Skelton

Maddy had back-to-back games with three points as the RiverHawks took care of business against Hopkins/St. Louis Park and Buffalo last week. In both contests, Skelton ended the game with two goals and one assist and has 13 goals and 10 assists on the year for NWC. The RiverHawks are 10-6-1 so far this season with games against Minnetonka and Rogers upcoming this week.

Dakotah Parker

In the diving event in Sauk Rapids on Jan. 6, Monticello sophomore Dakotah Parker beat his own 11-dive record en route to winning the event. Parker scored 441.10 points, breaking his own record from the section meet last season. Parker looks to break the 6-dive record this season (281) and return to the Class A state tournament at the end of the season.
