Dear parents/carers,
The Parkside Primary School Council are delighted to announce our plans for Red Nose Day on Friday, 17th March.
Following on from the success of World Book Day, pupils are invited to come into school in non-uniform to celebrate Comic Relief.
We ask pupils to consider wearing either: an item of red clothing, pyjamas, something spotty or something stripy.
During the day, each class will stage some auditions for Parkside’s Got Talent, a brand new and exciting talent show. The top three ‘acts’ from each class will make it through to perform at the Grand Final on the last day of this term. Sign up sheets will be going up in each class for those wishing to audition. Good luck to all pupils!
We would welcome any donations you feel you can spare at this time for either of our two chosen charities - Save The Children (who are helping to get life-saving supplies to families affected by the earthquakes in Turkey/Syria) or Comic Relief itself. We thank you in advance for any contributions you can make.
Donations to Comic Relief can be made via the dedicated online page by clicking the button below:
Donations to Save the Children can be made by logging in to ParentPay and clicking the relevant payment item titled 'Save the Children Donation'.
We look forward to all children getting into the spirit of Comic Relief on Red Nose Day – see you on the 17th!
Kind Regards
The School Council
