As Dr. Seuss aptly stated, “The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more you learn, the more places you’ll go.” Prioritizing daily reading not only fosters academic success but also enriches children’s lives beyond the classroom.
TEACHING OUR CHILDREN THE VALUE OF SHOWING UP
Every school day counts. When your child is in class, they’re not just learning math or reading—they’re developing critical thinking skills, making lifelong friends, and learning how to persevere through challenges. These habits are the foundation of future success in college, careers, and beyond.
We understand that life gets busy, and obstacles come up, but we’re here to partner with you. Together, we can ensure your child’s daily attendance becomes a powerful step toward their bright future. Please reach out to your child’s teacher, Mr. Owsley (mowsley@ccusd93.net), or our counselor, Mrs. Curtin, (rcurtin@ccusd93.net) if you need support!
